Raquel Gomez is a bilingual counselor who works with individuals, couples, and families, supporting clients through emotional challenges with an emphasis on purpose, meaning, and personal agency. With a background in nursing, she brings a holistic understanding of the connection between physical health, emotional well-being, and life stressors, particularly for individuals living with chronic illness.
Raquel specializes in counseling for chronic illness, anxiety, depression, trauma, generational trauma, relationship and attachment concerns, and a history of abuse. She offers faith-based counseling when desired, integrating spiritual values in a way that is respectful, client-led, and aligned with therapeutic goals. Her training includes a master’s degree with a specialty in children and adolescents, certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and experience providing crisis counseling for individuals affected by domestic violence or abuse.
